New York Minute
Hi everyone! Today we are going to be recapping my trip to New York City this past May. We hopped on a four pm flight and landed during the most stunning golden hour. We took a cab to the hotel and quickly got ready for our dinner at Smith and Wollensky. I wore this adorable Anthropologie top and Zara jean shorts- It was really warm this night! The shrimp cocktail and fries were great- but the entertainment was the best! The Nicks were playing the Heat in the NBA finals and the restaurant was so rowdy! Sadly, though luck was not on the Nicks’ side.
The view of the City from LGA! Makes my heart explode every time!!!!
Outfit for Dinner
On Saturday we woke up and grabbed some bagels from Ess- a bagel to prepare for a busy day of shopping in Soho and the West Village. We stood outside the brand new Glossier store when it opened and it was the most aesthetic store ever. If you are going to shop In New York, I highly recommend getting up early to do it. it will be much less chaotic and overstimulating if you get there early and you will be able to beat the crowds. The stores we went to included Glossier, Aritzia, Zara, Veja, Bloomingdales, and others.

Next, we be- bopped over to the West Village for lunch at the stunning New York institution, Sant Ambroeus. The food was great but the service and wait time could’ve been better considering it was 3:30. The Inside was beautiful and lively, and it was definitely crowded, so that could’ve also factored into it. The spaghetti was amazing but the Swedish Princess cake literally changed my life. It was decadent and perfectly moist and I would go again just for this.
I was in love with this Pasta
BEST DESSERT EVER!
We spent the remainder of the afternoon meandering around the West Village and stopping into some of my favorite stores like Loveshackfancy, Stoney Clover Lane, Little Words Project, and Lele Sadoughi. We then took the train back to the East Side where we went to TJ Maxx and another Bloomingdales.
The Violet Ribbon at Love shack made me so happy!!
Sunday morning we woke up early to shop on the Upper East Side. We stopped at Roller Rabbit, Loveshackfancy, Ever After, Hill House, Anthropologie, and Lululemon. The Hill House Store at Rock Center was my favorite store of the whole trip- It was so stunning and the girls there were so helpful and kind! It was a great time to shop because most brands were debuting their summer collections!!
Hill House had the best vibes

No trip to New York is ever complete without a trip to Ralph’s Coffee on Madison Avenue. After we went there we had my favorite pizza in New York at Serafina.
Best Pizza!

St. Patrick’s was so beautiful with the springy flower arch!!
Like all good things, this trip had to come to an end and I had to return to school. Until next time NYC!!
